TERMS OF SALE
When this document refers to the customer, that is also
known as the "Buyer" and when the document refers to CSC Worldwide that
is also known as the "Seller".
Quotations
Price quotes and delivery time frames of CSC Worldwide products will be provided
by the Sales Manager at the request of the Buyer. Quotations include the quantity
of product to be shipped as well as the description, purchase price, and estimated
delivery charges.
Delivery
Through our nationwide network of transportation providers, CSC Worldwide shipment
offers competitive rates for our customers' stores. CSC Worldwide will communicate
the Buyer's desired delivery date to the transportation provider. However, CSC
Worldwide will not be liable for failure to deliver or delays caused by labor troubles
including strikes, supplier's delays, accidents, fire, flood, acts of God, any
action by governmental authority, or causes beyond our control. The Buyer will not
hold CSC Worldwide liable for failure to deliver or delays due to requests for changes
by the Buyer. If the Buyer requests that a shipment be delayed and product be held,
the Buyer will be liable for any additional expenses for material, labor, or storage
and the items purchased will be held at the risk of the customer. (Any damage incurred
while in delayed shipment state will not be the responsibility of CSC Worldwide).
Pricing
All prices are subject to change. With the fluctuations in the economy, we try to
maintain competitive pricing for all of our customers. In the event prices need
to be adjusted, CSC Worldwide will contact you via letter or revised proposal prior
to production of product. If the Buyer has entered into a contract with CSC Worldwide,
pricing adjustments will be presented to the Buyer 30 days prior to the change.
If costs to CSC Worldwide for material or labor increase due to delays beyond the
control of CSC Worldwide, the prices to the Buyer will be adjusted.
Terms of Payment
CSC Worldwide requires that all new customers complete a credit application. If
a credit application has not previously been completed, your Account Team will work
with you to complete in a timely manner. At times credit cannot be issued due to
varying circumstances for each customer. CSC Worldwide does offer many alternatives
relating to payment. We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express, wire transfers,
and prepayment via check. Each Buyer is handled on an individual basis. Wire transfer
instructions are available upon your request. The Buyer agrees to pay each invoice
in full according to terms of sale or be subject to finance charges. The Buyer is
responsible for all invoices on account regardless of account credit limits. Balance
will become due in full upon any default in payment or violation of terms of account
use. Buyer will be responsible for any collection fees incurred while attempting
to gain payment in full on account after violation of terms of account use.
Cancellation of Orders
Buyers shall be responsible for payment of all material, labor, and engineering
costs incurred or committed by CSC Worldwide plus 10% of full purchase price on
a cancellation of any items that are not considered standard inventory by CSC Worldwide
and/or manufactured by CSC Worldwide to the Buyer's specifications. In no event,
will this amount exceed the purchase price of the product.
Returned Goods
No product will be returned without advanced written authorization from CSC Worldwide.
Unauthorized returns will not be accepted and will be returned at the buyer's
expense. Requests for return should be communicated to your Account Team and include
the reason for return, the date of purchase, and the original invoice number. The
returned good must be received in re-saleable condition. The Buyer will be charged
a 30% restocking fee plus additional charges for those items requiring recrating
or rework. After the approval process has been completed, the Buyer will be granted
a Return Authorization Number. The Buyer must include the Return Authorization Number
with the returned goods. The returned goods must be shipped on a prepaid basis to
CSC Worldwide at 4403 Equity Drive, Columbus, OH 43228. CSC Worldwide will not accept
collect shipments. All non-catalogue items or custom items are not returnable.
